Dr. Darren Schmidt
Founder of The Nutritional Healing Center of Ann Arbor. Dr. Schmidt’s purpose is to bankrupt pharmaceutical companies by getting many people well. He has learned the mechanism of chronic disease, well known prior to 1960 but forgotten in modern times, due to his own health crisis from black mold exposure in 2016. He reads old medical and nutrition textbooks from 1910 to 1960, when almost all research was Feeding Studies. Combined with new nutrition information, the old textbooks hold the secrets to preventing and reversing the major chronic health problems of today.
Kerry Cradit
Kerry is our nutritionist. She has her B.S. in Nutrition and Food Science. Kerry worked at The University of Michigan Health System and saw that by the time most people were hospitalized with chronic problems it was too late for nutrition to help. She came to the office in 2006 as a patient with her own health concerns. Her experience as a patient showed her there are nutritional alternatives to medications. It is her desire to help people with health problems find solutions. Kerry completed Ulan Nutritional Systems Advanced Clinical Training in Nutrition Response Testing℠ and she is a Certified Stott Pilates Instructor. She has helped hundreds of patients over the years to improve their health.

Dr. Taghride “Taggy” Bensaïd
Dr. Taggy first came to the U.S. as a teenager on a mission with Operation Smile, to help kids with cleft lip and palate get their smile back. She fell in love with helping people and began studying pre-med through internships at NYU, Mt Sinai and Casablanca Public Hospitals. Back in 2006 Dr. Taggy was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) leaving her in excruciating pain and little control over her condition.
Years later she began a Nutritional Program at the NHCAA and within 3 months her symptoms completely disappeared and she has been cyst and fibroid free ever since. After becoming a Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Taggy’s goal has been to help patients get to the root cause of their symptoms by listening and supporting their body.
Mikaela Cradit
In 2017, at 20 years old, Mikaela started experiencing severe abdominal pain and heavy bleeding. Unsure of the root cause, she started to seek out any answers she could find. Between multiple ultrasounds, dietary changes, countless doctor’s appointments, and even a couple of ER visits, the only answer she was receiving was that doctors could do a biopsy of her left ovary to see if they could find any answers for her.
Thankfully, due to her upbringing, Mikaela knew that this invasive option was not the answer for her. Having a direct role model in the natural health world, her mother, Mikaela turned to the NHCAA. Immediately after starting supplements to correct her hormone levels, dissolve calcium deposits (cysts) in her organs, and rid herself of toxins, she noticed unbelievable improvements in her pain levels- and the bleeding completely stopped.
With these dramatic and timely changes, she decided to involve herself as much as possible in helping people with similar issues. Today, she has no irregular bleeding, no severe pain, and her hormone and iron levels are all normal. Her entire purpose is to ensure that anyone experiencing health challenges, has more options than the allopathic medical route.
