Frequently Asked Questions

Regarding Your Services at The NHCAA

What can I expect at my first visit?

The first visit is approximately an hour to an hour and a half long. To begin, a practitioner assistant will run a computer test, that will assess your nervous system and overall health. The practitioner will then discuss with you your health history, main health concerns, and your health goals. Finally, the Practitioner will analyze your organs and body through Nutrition Response Testing.

Along with the initial visit includes a Report of Findings appointment. The practitioner will create an individualized report that includes the findings from your initial visit. At that time, you and your Nutrition Response Testing practitioner will develop a nutrition program consisting of dietary and supplement recommendations that will promote your optimum health and vitality.

How long will it take for me to see results?

Everyone’s bodies are in different states of health when starting one of our holistic health programs. We are proud to say that we have had patients see results as soon as 24 hours, however, this varies from person to person. Your commitment is a huge contributing factor to your overall success in health. We have created a 5-step journey wherein about six months to a year and a half you will fully regain your health.

We will fine-tune this program and reevaluate as you progress on your journey and reach your health goals.

How does the nutrition restore my body's health?

Our current food system is lacking the essential vitamins and minerals that our bodies need. Our practitioners will design a supplement and diet regiment providing you with the essential vitamins and minerals to restore the health of your organs. Once we establish the correct nutrition plan for you, you may see signs of increased mental cognition, a decrease in weight, and an increase in daily productivity. Our goal is to reverse the overall health condition not just cover it up with pharmaceutical prescriptions.

Is each person’s healing process unique?

Because healthy people aren’t sick or have any diseases, we strive to improve the health of our patients instead of “attacking disease“. This is a process that is unique for each individual. Once optimal health is attained, maintenance of this health can insure a lifetime of vitality and longevity.

What’s so special about your supplements?

The supplements that we use are whole food concentrates from Standard Process, Inc. They are the best “organ specific groceries” your money can buy. The herbs are whole herbal extracts from Mediherb in Australia. They are the best herbs we have found. These supplements are often just as important as the dietary changes. These supplements speed recovery in areas where the basic diet may take a long time to heal or never heal.

What about Chiropractic/ Applied Kinesiology?

Chiropractic adjustments move the misaligned bones back into their proper anatomical positions. This is important because the joints in your skeletal system can impede health when they are stuck or misaligned. An adjustment will restore proper movement, blood flow, and electrical flow to the area and eliminate pain. An occasional adjustment to the skeletal system is good for maintaining wellness in the long run because minor traumas occur on a regular basis. However, it’s important to note that bones don’t move muscles. Muscles move bones and hold them in their proper position.

Applied Kinesiology is used to restore normal strength and balance to muscles that have been injured from traumas of all kinds.

The trained Applied Kinesiologist knows twenty therapeutic techniques that may be used to remove the roadblocks to healing so the muscles heal properly and in a balanced manner. When the muscles are balanced the Chiropractic adjustments will hold their position for a much longer time. Thus, the need for regular Chiropractic adjustments and Applied Kinesiology muscle balancing are paramount when one is interested in having a balanced frame and normal biomechanical function.

What do scars have to do with it?

Scars are another structural component. Every surgical patient in Germany has their scar treated due to the damage scar tissue can cause. A scar may not cause any problems for years but then can stress an organ or the nervous system, preventing healing. Just rubbing wheat germ or sesame oil into a scar everyday for three months can resolve scar issues. Scars are a leading cause of “incurable cases.”

Isn’t all this pretty hard?

Improving health is easy, joyful and very rewarding. It is not a struggle or test of willpower.
